The Colombian star signed a two-year deal with the option to extend his contract at Goodison Park for a further year.

The 29-year-old played with Los Blancos in the last six seasons since winning the Golden Boot at the 2014 World Cup, but moved to England during the summer transfer window.

He managed to play 14 times for Zinedine Zidane’s side last season and scored one goal, but he was assured of first team football under Ancelotti.

The forward has kick-started his Everton career on a high netting three times in his first five games to help the Toffees to the top of the Premier League so far.
