And ever since taking over the mantle of leadership as head coach, Pep has given Man City a bright touch of magic by replicating his brilliant Barcelona antics which have seen the Blues metamorphose into an indomitable side.

However, sad for the ace manager he still needs some lessons on how to handle cars after reports claims the former Barcelona manger has damaged four motors since moving to the North West.

According to authors Lu Martin and Pol Ballus in their book, Pep’s City: The Making Of A Superteam, the Spaniard damaged £80,000 black Mercedes GLE, and £150,000 Range Rover.

Coupled with this, Guardiola has also ruined a £200,000 silver Bentley GTX700 and a £30,000 Mini Cooper with the total sum of the ruined cars estimated to be £460,000.

“Pep is brilliant at many things but driving doesn’t appear to be one of them,” the source said.

“He has a reputation from his Barcelona days of being a hapless driver and this is his fourth car he has owned since coming to Manchester.

“His wing mirrors don’t survive for long and he’s also managed to fill a diesel Range Rover with petrol and mangle a silver Bentley.”

Meanwhile, Man City under Guardiola, are second on the Premier League table with 47 points league leaders Liverpool after 6-1 victory over Aston Villa at Etihad Stadium.
