Magu is being held over allegations bordering on insubordination and corruption following a recent memo by the attorney-general of the federal, Abubakar Malami, indicting the suspended EFCC boss.
As different dusts raise, the retired justice Ayo Salami-led panel investigating Magu may have found fresh holes in his anti-graft fight with more documents now set to open more lids on how Magu allegedly ran EFCC like an empire.
The EFCC unit heads first appeared before the Salami-led panel on Tuesday, July 7, twenty-four hours after Magu was grilled over abuse of offices.
The senior officials of the agency presented some documents to the panel which may further shed more light on 21 corruption allegations levelled against the suspended EFCC chairman.
Magu, who is still in detention, has been replaced by the EFCC director of operations, Umar Mohammed, in what is suggesting an end to his era.
