Soon after it was 2-0 as Benzema chested down a Casemiro cross brilliant before producing a smart finish in the 45th minute. That was how the first half ended 2-0 in favour of Los Blancos.
A nice interchange of passes saw Hazard release Benzema who found Valverde at the back post and the Uruguayan volleyed the ball in to make it 3-0 for Real Madrid.
David Ferreiro pulled one back for Huesca in the 74th minute but it will turn out to be just a consolation goal as Benzema got his brace in the 90th minute after an assist from Rodrygo.
It ended 4-1 as the victory takes Zinedine Zidane’s men to the top of La Liga on 16 points.
