ENDSARS: Nigerians calls on John Boyega and Anthony Joshua to join the protest

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) has come under a lot of public criticisms as they have been accused of abuse of power.

Many Nigerians have called on celebrities in the country to use their platforms to support the movement and now, that call is being extended to celebrities of Nigerian descent abroad.

Shortly after a Twitter user called on Nigerian-born Hollywood actor, John Boyega, another Twitter user called on boxing star, Anthony Joshua to do the same.

The tweet reads:

“Mr @anthonyfjoshua Nigerians need your help, sir. We are in danger, every youth of this country is in danger. Please help us to use your Page to lend a voice for help. SARS are destroying the future of this country. Help us!! #EndSarsProtests #EndSARS”

 

This comes shortly after American rapper, Cardi B reacted to the nationwide SARS protest that is going on in the country.

A Twitter user identified as Asiwaju Larry took to his page to alert Cardi B, about the development and asked her to help publicise the happenings in Nigeria.

Cardi responded by asking for more details on what was happening and promised to make her research.
