Frank Lampard may have played a part in helping the London club beat Bayern to lift the title for the first time in 2012, he will however avoid facing them anytime soon over their form.

The Bavarians recorded a 7-1 aggregate win over the Stamford Bridge side in both legs of their second-round encounters last term.

And they went ahead to humiliate Barcelona 8-2 before eventually winning the title with a 1-0 win over Paris Saint Germain.

Antonio Conte’s Inter are in the pot Three and the Italian bor manager could be grouped with his former team for the European championship.

SunSport reports that Lampard should have gotten his team ready before the competition kicks off on October 20 – the delay caused by the outbreak of COVID-19.

However, teams are set to have to play six fiercely competitive European ties during the most congested season in history – which will possibly affect their Premier League campaign as well.
