The fence, according to PM New, was at the General Aviation Terminal (GAT), which is in the local wing of the Lagos airport.

It started when the aircraft, the King Air 200 Jet was re-parking but accidentally crashed into the fence at the tarmac near a structure owned by Bristow Helicopters after a brake failure.

Confirming the incident, Tunji Oketumbi, the spokesperson of the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), said that investigators have been deployed to the scene to ascertain the extent of damage.

Oketumbi said: “We have been notified of an accident that occurred at the local airport and our investigators have gone there to commence investigations.”
